~8:30 AM @ McGolrick Park
Brunch + Celebration to follow
We want to invite you to celebrate as we "preview" our marriage.
We want to follow a traditional engagement period and host our "main event" wedding down the line, the way we want to.
We also want to celebrate this milestone with a small group of folks who know us and our situation best.
We have always enjoyed defining our lives the way we want to, listening to tradition and norms while also feeling free to carve our own path as well. This celebration will follow that same vein - it will not feel like a traditional wedding and we take some pride in that.
We would love to have you join us. Please see the rest of this one-pager for details and Q&A.

We are going for Brooklyn Sunday Park Formal. There are many ways to interpret this, all of which are correct. Some helpful data points:
Ultimately, we would love an eclectic vibe and encourage you to wear whatever you feel good-looking and comfortable in with our cool spring weather.
Your greatest gifts will be (a) your presence and (b) some killer photos, taken with individual cameras that we will provide. Otherwise, save it for the "main event" down the line!
April 26th is an auspicious date for us to get married in both Indian and Chinese calendars. Given our birth timings, Indian astrology systems suggest a timing between 6a - 9:15a ET on the morning of the 26th. In Chinese numerology, 8 is a lucky number (homophones with "getting rich"), with more 8’s the better. Join us when you can - we will be celebrating throughout the day, all nearby our apartment in Williamsburg.
XXX - separate reservations needed for wedding and the rooftop celebration?
